SC orders banker Pande's release
▸ Part of: Supreme Court Orders Release of NIMB CEO Jyoti Prakash Pandey on Bail
The Supreme Court issued an order to release Jyoti Prakash Pande, CEO of Nepal Investment Mega Bank Ltd, on bail. The order came in response to a habeas corpus writ petition filed by Pande's spouse, Niru Dahal, arguing his arrest by the Central Bureau of Nepal Police in connection with the Smart Telecom case was illegal. Pande will now undergo investigation without being held in detention.
