MoFA limits ECR to 12 hours

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reduced the operation of its Emergency Control Room (ECR) to 12 hours daily, citing a normal condition for Nepalis in West Asia. The ECR, previously operating 24 hours, will now function from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. The government has also successfully rescued 687 Nepalis from illegal online scamming centers in Southeast Asia, with ongoing efforts to assist those imprisoned or facing fines in Cambodia and Myanmar.
