Parliamentary Hearing Committee endorses Sharma’s name for Chief Justice

The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has unanimously endorsed the name of Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma for appointment as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. The committee reviewed Dr Sharma's work plan and considered sixteen complaints lodged against him before making the decision. According to constitutional provisions, the President will now appoint the Chief Justice upon the committee's approval.
