Encroachment Removal in Bara Finds Only Two Genuine Squatters

During an encroachment removal operation in Bara along the East-West Highway, only two genuine squatters were identified among 35 households occupying forest land. The joint operation, led by the Division Forest Office, Bara, and Parsa National Park, involved removing structures from the Banadevi Community Forest and park area. Forest officials stated that most encroachers have other residences and that legal action will be taken against those who do not come forward with proof of genuine squatting.
