Gen Z Movement: Nepali Congress demands implementation of Human Rights Commission’s recommendations

The Nepali Congress has stated that the National Human Rights Commission's report on the Gen Z movement confirms their view that the Gauri Bahadur Karki Commission's report was incomplete and insufficient. The party emphasized that while freedom of expression and peaceful protests are democratic, violent activities are not. They take seriously the NHRC's conclusion that state officials and lawmakers suspected of involvement should be investigated.
