Moula Na Pa Mayor Warns PM Balen Shah of Lockout Over Illegal Interference

The Mayor of Moulana Municipality, Rinakumari Sah, has warned Prime Minister Balen Shah of locking down the municipality if illegal interference by the government bureaucracy is not stopped. Mayor Sah stated that the municipality is committed to implementing popular programs like free electricity, free water, and financial assistance for daughters' marriages, but delays are caused by the Chief Administrative Officer's irregular attendance and obstruction in opening bank accounts. She accused the government of unnecessarily interfering in local governance and questioning local autonomy.
