PMO Condemns Threats Against Local Government Official, Orders Legal Action

The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) has condemned threats made against Ward Secretary Kamal Bhandari of Dullu Municipality in Dailekh, allegedly by Prakash Khadka who invoked the Prime Minister's name. The OPMCM stated that such acts are unacceptable and has ordered legal proceedings against Khadka. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal remains committed to good governance and the rule of law, warning against the misuse of the Prime Minister's Office for personal gain or threats.
