Pregnant Woman Rescued by Army Helicopter from Bajura

A pregnant woman, Lalita Nepali, aged 19, suffering from prolonged labor pain, was rescued by a Nepali Army helicopter from Bajura district. She was initially admitted to Kolti Basic Hospital and later referred to Karnali Provincial Hospital Surkhet for critical condition. The rescue was coordinated by the District Administration Office Bajura and the Ministry of Women and Children under the President's Women Upliftment Program, which provides emergency air rescue services for pregnant women in remote areas.
