Additional security forces, including 16 personnel led by Inspector Laxmi Raj Joshi, have been deployed to the Lampata area of Bajura's Himāli Rural Municipality following a clash between locals of Humla and Bajura over a border dispute. The dispute arose when locals from Humla protested the construction of a temporary police post, claiming the Kawari Khola as the border between the two districts.

The injured were transported to Surkhet Provincial Hospital via helicopter, with expenses covered by the Himali rural municipality.
