Janamat Party

The Madhesh Province Council of Ministers was reshuffled on Thursday, with Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav taking charge of several key ministries. This reshuffle follows the resignation of ministers from the Janamat Party and the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, and the inclusion of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) into the provincial government. Chief Minister Yadav is scheduled to seek a vote of confidence from the Provincial Assembly.

Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Kumar Yadav successfully passed a confidence vote in the Madhesh Province Assembly with 62 votes in favor and 36 against. This vote was necessitated after a ruling coalition partner withdrew its support, leading Yadav to reshuffle the government and secure backing from new allies. The outcome ensures the continuation of his government.
