Tribhuvan International Airport

Ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party MP Anushka Shrestha has called for the mandatory sale of Nepali goods at Tribhuvan International Airport to promote Nepali identity and entrepreneurs. She emphasized that the airport should be utilized to showcase domestic industries and indigenous products to departing passengers.

Police apprehended Ajit Shrestha at Tribhuvan International Airport with 37 Nepali passports, intending to get Romanian visas stamped on them before traveling to Delhi. Spokesperson Rajkumar Silwal stated Shrestha was taken into custody while attempting to depart on a Nepal Airlines flight without official authorization.
