338 Local Levels Complete Land Use Plans by Mid-April Deadline

As of mid-April, 338 local levels across the country have successfully completed the classification of their land use plans. This initiative, overseen by the Ministry of Land, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs, and General Administration, aims to improve land use strategies and is crucial for agricultural protection, production, and urbanization.

  • Out of the 338 local levels that completed land use classification, 169 have also updated maps and collected statistical data.
  • 15 local levels have developed specific standards and updated maps for the agricultural sector.
  • 50 local levels are currently in the process of preparing their bases and standards for land use plans.
  • 47 local levels were unable to begin this work due to various reasons.
  • The deadline for completing land use classification for all local levels is set for mid-July.
