Shovakanta Poudel Appointed Nepal Bank Chairperson; SEBON Shortlists Candidates

Shovakanta Poudel has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Nepal Bank Limited, taking the oath of office on Tuesday. Meanwhile, a recommendation committee has shortlisted four candidates for the chairperson position at the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) following applications from 47 individuals.

  • The chairperson position at Nepal Bank became vacant after the resignation of former chairperson Prof. Dr. Dilli Raj Sharma and Maya Acharya's resignation as the Ministry of Finance representative.
