An elderly pedestrian died after being struck by a motorcycle in Jhapa's Kamal Rural Municipality–1. The 70-year-old victim, Shankar Prasad Dhungana, sustained serious injuries and succumbed to them during treatment. The motorcyclist, Manoj Murmu, has been taken into custody, and police are investigating the accident, noting that the motorcycle's documents were not found at the scene.
