Youth dies in motorcycle crash

A 22-year-old man, Nishan Thapa, died in a motorcycle accident in Itahari, Sunsari district, early Wednesday morning. The motorcycle, ridden by his friend Abhishek Rai, lost control after hitting a divider. Thapa sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead during treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan. Police suspect speeding and inattention as causes and are investigating.
