Over 26,000 security personnel, including 134 deep divers, have been placed on standby nationwide for monsoon disaster response operations. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has prepared personnel from the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force for rapid deployment. This year's monsoon is projected to affect approximately 226,661 people from 51,868 households, based on forecasts of below-average rainfall and above-average temperatures.
