The facility, built at a cost of approximately Rs 50 million with government and municipal investment, was intended to process waste from Diktel Bazaar into fertilizer and biogas but has been idle since its inauguration in 2077 BS. Locals are frustrated by the prolonged inactivity, the deterioration of equipment, and the potential waste of public funds, criticizing the municipal leadership for lacking a plan to operate the plants.
