A cold storage facility under construction in Rajbiraj Municipality-15 has been abandoned for five years, with its equipment deteriorating. The contractor, Sharma Ashish JV Pvt. Ltd., halted the project midway due to insufficient funding and delayed payments from federal and provincial governments. The project, intended to store 3,000 tonnes of produce, remains incomplete, causing difficulties for local farmers.
