Bird Flu confirmed in Kathmandu

Avian influenza (bird flu) has been confirmed in Wards 2, 3, and 4 of Gokarneshwor Municipality in Kathmandu, prompting the municipality to issue a public notice urging residents to be alert. Containment measures, including the safe disposal of infected poultry and related materials, are being intensified, with disinfection efforts underway and restrictions on unauthorized entry into poultry farms.
