Asian Highway: Rapid Construction of ‘Arch’ Technology Bridges underway

Construction of three large bridges utilizing modern arch technology is progressing rapidly under the Kakadbhitta–Laukahi Road Project's western section, part of the Asian Highway. These bridges are being built over the Ratuwa, Lohandra, and Bakraha rivers. Approximately 40 percent of the physical progress in bridge construction has been achieved so far, with the bridges being constructed using visually appealing steel-arch technology.
