Three arrested in Mustang with 590 cartons of Chinese vapes seized near Nepal border

Security personnel in Mustang district seized 590 cartons of Chinese electronic cigarettes (vapes) and arrested three individuals during a border operation near the Nepal-China frontier. The consignment, along with shoes, socks, and garments, was intercepted at Eklebhatti in Lomanthang Rural Municipality-4 and was reportedly being transported to Kathmandu via the Korala border point. The arrested individuals have been handed over to police custody, and the confiscated goods were transferred to the Mustang Customs Office for further investigation amid growing concerns over illegal cross-border trade.
