The government plans to develop tourist hubs by upgrading highways and connecting them with religious and cultural routes. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle announced the development of the Shaligram Path, linking various religious sites, and a religious-cultural route from Lumbini to Muktinath. The plan also includes expanding trade destinations by connecting the Mid-Hill Highway with the Korala trade route and prioritizing an environment-friendly transportation system in Pokhara Valley with electric buses.
