Government to Develop Highways as Tourist Hubs, Connect Religious Sites

The government plans to improve and upgrade various highways, connecting them with religious and cultural routes to develop them as tourist hubs. Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle announced that the Shaligram Path will be developed, integrating meditation, spiritual practice, yoga, and Himalayan cultural experiences. A plan is also in place to prioritize an environment-friendly transportation system in Pokhara valley by replacing public buses with electric buses.
