The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has recommended that individuals involved in human rights violations be suspended from public office for at least six months. The Commission urged the government to implement this as an interim measure to curb impunity until a new legal framework is introduced, citing Section 4 (1) (Cha) of the National Human Rights Commission Act, 2068.
