The National Human Rights Commission of Nepal recommended legal and departmental action against former Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli, former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, and former Communications Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung for human rights violations during the Gen-Z movement. The commission proposed a new law for punishing political leaders involved in such violations, including imprisonment, fines, and barring from political appointments.
