Office of the Attorney General advises universities to ensure retrieval of encroached upon land

The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) has advised universities, including Tribhuvan University, to retrieve encroached land, protect properties, and utilize them for income generation. The OAG's 63rd annual report indicates that 14,784,000 square meters of land belonging to Tribhuvan University and its subordinate bodies has been encroached upon. Additionally, land belonging to Tikapur Multiple Campus and Pokhara University has also been invaded. The OAG recommended that universities archive property details and coordinate with authorities to reclaim encroached land.
