Two APF, Nepal Personnel Scale Mt Everest

Assistant Sub-Inspector Nim Dikki Sherpa and Assistant Head Constable Anita Karki of the Armed Police Force (APF), Nepal successfully scaled Mt Everest on Sunday morning. Karki reached the summit at 10:20 am and Sherpa at 11:55 am, making them the third and fourth APF personnel to do so. This marks the first women's team from the APF to scale the peak, and the APF has hailed the ascent as a historic success that may inspire greater women's participation within the force.
