Indian national arrested with gold

An Indian national, Param Pathak, was arrested at the Kakarbhitta customs checkpoint with 570 grams of gold and 20,000 US dollars. The Armed Police Force Nepal seized the gold, worth 14.4 million rupees, along with foreign and Indian currency. Pathak, claiming to be from Kolkata, is being presented at the Jhapa District Court for legal proceedings.
