Nepal Urges Return of Citizens from Ukraine Amid Diplomatic Efforts

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has banned Nepalis from traveling to Ukraine and urged those already there to return, as diplomatic efforts are underway to bring back Nepalis, including prisoners of war. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal has discussed the issue with his Ukrainian counterpart. Meanwhile, families of Nepalis killed serving in the Russian army are receiving compensation, though information on missing individuals remains unclear. Eleven Nepalis are currently held captive in Ukraine.
