The Bagmati Province government collected Rs 31.33 billion in revenue in the first ten months of the fiscal year 2082/83 BS, with real estate registration fees and vehicle tax being primary sources. Revenue collection was impacted by a slowdown in real estate and new vehicle sales due to liquidity constraints, as well as damage to revenue offices during protests.
