More students, better results at Tribhuvan University

Enrollment at Tribhuvan University has increased by 5.61% in the fiscal year 2024/25, recovering from a decline the previous year. The Management and Education faculties saw the largest student numbers, while Engineering and Law experienced sharp drops. The university attributes the overall growth to external factors like stricter visa policies abroad and renewed hope in Nepal, and pass rates also improved significantly. The government increased its grant to TU, but the Auditor General recommended the university increase its own revenue.
