Damauli–Bharatpur 220 kV line advances after clearance

Construction of the 220 kV Damauli–Bharatpur transmission line, part of the Tanahun Hydropower Project, can now proceed rapidly after the Division Forest Office Chitwan granted forest entry permission following the resolution of tree-felling issues. Legal and financial matters concerning compensation funds have been settled, allowing for the felling of 1,263 trees and accelerating tower erection and wire stringing.
