400kV Transmission Line Construction Resumes After Local Dispute Resolution

Construction of the Hetauda-Dhalkebar-Duhabi 400kV Transmission Line has resumed after being halted due to local dissatisfaction and disputes over compensation and land. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Biraj Bhakta Shrestha's initiative facilitated discussions with affected locals, leading to landowners accepting compensation. The Nepal Electricity Authority is progressing with tower construction, aiming to complete the project within the current financial year to prevent significant electricity wastage and economic loss.
