Construction of the 400 kV Hetauda-Dhalkebar-Duhabi transmission line has resumed after being obstructed by local dissatisfaction over compensation and land disputes. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Biraj Bhakta Shrestha, initiated efforts that led to land-owners accepting compensation, allowing tower construction to proceed. The project, started in 2012, faced significant delays on the Hetauda-Dhalkebar section.
