Norway partners with Nepal to launch ‘Power-GIF’ initiative for green industrial growth

The Centre for Rural Technology Nepal (CRT/N) and its partners launched the “Powering Nepal’s Green Industrial Future” (Power-GIF) initiative, supported by the Government of Norway. The project aims to enhance the industrial utilization of renewable energy, particularly in the Birgunj-Simara industrial corridor, to foster sustainable economic development and leverage projected surplus electricity for domestic industries.
