Construction Sector Faces Collapse Due to Price Hikes, Federation Submits Memoranda

The Federation of Contractors' Nepal has submitted memorandums to the Integrated Infrastructure Development Ministry and the Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Ministry, stating that the construction sector has collapsed due to excessive price increases. The federation is demanding contract price adjustments, deadline extensions for stalled projects, and clear budget allocations. They also objected to the harassment of businessmen, warning it would spoil the investment environment.
