UML joins Madhesh govt following ruling coalition reshuffle

The CPN-UML has decided to join the ruling coalition in Madhesh Province following discussions between the Nepali Congress and UML leaders. This move comes after the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal remained undecided on supporting the Chief Minister Krishna Prasad Yadav-led government, which had previously led to a postponed vote of confidence. Although JSP Nepal ultimately decided to back Yadav, it will no longer be part of the ruling coalition, leading to a new alliance structure.
