Madhesh Province Chief Minister Krishna Yadav is seeking a vote of confidence today following a new power equation formed between the Nepali Congress, CPN UML, and Nepal Communist Party. After ministers from the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal and Janamat Party resigned, Chief Minister Yadav reshuffled the cabinet, inducting Mohammad Samim from UML. The government requires the support of at least 52 members in the Provincial Assembly to secure a majority.
