Chandrakumar Ghimire, a 64-year-old prisoner serving a sentence for a rape case in Jhapa District Prison, died during treatment at B&C Hospital in Birtamod. Ghimire had been transferred between multiple hospitals due to deteriorating health and respiratory problems. He had served over eight years of his ten-year sentence.
