Government Orders Recall of 'Nova' Ice Cream Due to Harmful Bacteria

The government has ordered the immediate recall of 'Nova' brand ice cream produced by Fishtail Dairy Pvt. Ltd. in Pokhara due to the presence of harmful bacteria exceeding prescribed standards. The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control found 'Total Bacteria Count', 'Coliform Count', and 'Enterobacteriaceae Count' in the 1000 ml ice cream (Batch No. C02, produced on 2082-04-19) to be unfit for human consumption.
