Magnesium Glycinate supplements illegal in Nepal, Govt warns of action against sales

The government has declared that any dietary supplement containing magnesium glycinate is unauthorized for sale in Nepal, warning of legal action against sellers. The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control noted misleading advertisements on social media and stated that no product with magnesium glycinate has been registered or approved. Products sold without registration will face strict legal action under the Food Hygiene and Quality Act, 2081 BS.
