Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of Young Passenger in Itahari

A 22-year-old man, Nishan Thapa, died from critical injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Itahari Sub-metropolitan City early Wednesday morning. The motorcycle, ridden by Abhishek Rai, reportedly lost control after hitting a divider, causing the crash. Rai, who sustained minor injuries, allegedly fled the scene with the motorcycle.

  • The accident occurred around 1:50 AM on the Koshi Highway when the motorcycle was traveling from Itahari towards Dharan.
  • Nishan Thapa was pronounced dead around 3:00 AM at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, during treatment.
