Rainfall Recorded Across Nepal Due to Weather Systems

Rainfall has occurred east of Gandaki Province due to the influence of westerly winds, local winds, and a low-pressure area near the eastern part of Nepal. The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded at 152 millimeters in Kechanakawal, Jhapa. A heatwave is possible in the hilly and plain areas of Sudurpaschim Province, and hot days are expected in Lumbini Province.
