Karnali Stadium Construction Delayed Due to Unresolved Contractor Payment and Extension Issues

The construction of Karnali Stadium is significantly delayed due to unresolved contractor payment issues and a lack of timely appointment of a Member Secretary with financial authority. Despite 99 percent completion, the stadium remains neglected and is deteriorating. The contracting company, MAC/GSL JV, claims non-payment of 9 Crore rupees and awaits deadline extension and payment to complete the remaining one percent of work.
