NMA urged to deposit mountaineering royalty in divisible fund on time

The Office of the Auditor General has urged the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) to promptly deposit collected mountaineering royalties into the divisible fund and inform the relevant ministry. According to the Intergovernmental Fiscal Management Act, royalties are to be deposited in the Federal Divisible Fund for distribution among different government levels. The NMA, responsible for collecting royalties from 27 mountain peaks, has reportedly delayed depositing Rs 96.3 million.
