The Himalayan Literature Festival and Writers Workshop (HLF-WWK) 2026 will be held in Kathmandu from May 29 to June 5, gathering over 75 writers, poets, scholars, and artists globally. Dedicated to Guru Prasad Mainali, the festival's theme is “Ecstasy, Healing, and Creative Writing in the New World Order” and will feature Nepal’s first Poetry Film Festival. Participants from numerous countries will engage in workshops, readings, discussions, and performances.
