250 Prisoners Still at Large After Jailbreak

250 prisoners remain at large following a jailbreak from Jaleshwor Jail in Mahottari during recent agitations. Out of 576 inmates who escaped, 326 have returned, including 316 Nepalis and 10 Indians. The jail, built in 1913 BS, faces challenges with old structures, overcrowding, and insufficient medicine due to a limited budget. Search operations for the absconding prisoners are ongoing, involving Nepal Police and Armed Police.
