Part of: NHRC Report Criticizes Handling of Protester Deaths, Cites Intelligence Failure

The National Human Rights Commission has recommended prosecuting and investigating those responsible for incidents during the Gen-Z movement, which resulted in 76 deaths. The Commission identified former Prime Ministers KP Sharma Oli and others as having committed human rights violations and recommended enacting a retroactive law for prosecution. The report also calls for further investigation into various officials and identifies Rabi Lamichhane's involvement in releasing detainees.
