The Ministry of Home Affairs has urged citizens in Humla and Bajura districts to exercise restraint following an incident in the border area. A high-level investigation team, led by a Senior Superintendent of Police, has been formed to probe the event and submit a report, while additional security forces have been deployed to maintain peace and order.

The government of Nepal has announced a public holiday on May 28 to observe Bakra Eid, also known as Eid-ul-Adha. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued the notice after the Muslim Commission confirmed the festival's date. This decision aligns with the government's policy of recognizing major religious festivals.

Members of Nepal's National Assembly have strongly criticized the government for its eviction of informal settlers, citing human rights concerns and the hardship faced by vulnerable groups. Lawmakers also raised issues regarding delays in addressing social and infrastructure problems, including flooding and riverbank erosion, and alleged poor living conditions in relocation sites. The government's approach to squatter settlements and its handling of cooperative issues were also points of contention.

The Ministry of Health and Population in Nepal has developed a plan to classify and provide monthly treatment expenses for individuals injured during the Gen Z Uprising in September. Survivors will be categorized based on their hospital admissions, with financial aid allocated for caretakers and different levels of injury, ranging from very critically injured to normally injured. A lump sum of Rs. 35,000 was also provided to all injured individuals.
