Nepal's Foreign Trade Surges 14.75%, Trade Deficit Widens Significantly

Nepal's foreign trade increased by 14.75% to Rs 19.41 trillion in the first 10 months of fiscal year 2082/83, according to the Department of Customs. However, the trade deficit widened by 14.92% to Rs 14.43 trillion as imports grew faster than exports, with imports accounting for 87.18% of total trade.
